Finally Skype has been fixed so it doesn't stuff up your contacts every time it starts.

It's a well performing app. Kudos to Microsoft.
If only most Android Apps worked as well as this Android app on my Q10 lol.

Anybody else experiencing crashing every time you click the emoticon icon in a chat window?

I've turned off Large emoticons and Animated emoticons and it's still crashing.

Also I disabled notifications of Skype status and it's turned itself back on again.

So I used skype video calling (using latest skype version available in BlackBerry world) and it drained my battery very very very very very quickly. Imm talking about 50% battery gone in like a 15 minute video call.

    Any solutions to this?

Go into device monitor and remember to close the app after using it. Skype headless drains battery real quick!

Does it fix the chat notification beep volume? On my Passport and Z10 it is always at the same level. Main volume or app notification settings don't affect it.

Anyone got a Google Service stopped notification, when use Skype? I got a lot of notification, after click on OK, Skype works ok, not crash. But after a few second a notification popped up.
I install Skype from BlackBerry World.

No, it's the same with any android video calling app. Only solution would be a native app
