I have 7 installed too on my Q10. Works great, can't sign in either though. Wondering if anyone has tried 6.14 on 10.2 and whether the settings menu still crashes the phone. I'll give it a try later tonight perhaps.
OK Ive downloaded the version your using "7.0.2.700022113" but saw version "7.0.2.700022114" so I downloaded it as well, is this a newer version and is there any reason I should not use it.
And thanks for this, will load later.
Thanks guys but did report. It is a dead end, they say they use what the town or municipality has in their records. Unfortunately I purchased a subdivision all for myself and now the proposed subdivision road layout is what Google claims are public ways.
Wrong!
Funny thing is when posted a Google image of the area it's clear as day the mapping is wrong in where the road is or should I say where the roads are not.
Google maps people told me they can't trust Google Earth because it's often wrong. WTF they told me the mapping is right.
I installed automatic gates and sent them the bill. Lol

Yup. Using 6.14 on my Q10 and it's working wonderfully. I dont use the navigation features. I only use the maps w/ transit layers since I live in the city and dont drive.
Dose anyone else get an -104 error when sideloading or am I alone?
Info: 10.2.0.1047 with 10.2.0.810 runtime, and the "special" version of google maps 6, sideloading with Chrome
snap! Also, 10.2.0.1047 with 10.2.0.810 runtime. Tried with and without a debugtoken too. Also, same error message using chrome or xsacha's "install.bat".
Looks like I'll need to tear into the new GMaps app and possibly put in a few of the countermeasures I had to keep the v6 build working smoothly. Any areas of the application that cause a force quit when you access them?
I've been running since 10.2..483 via debug method but since 1047 I've been getting forced closes if I try to go into settings.... also "navigation " keeps giving an error saying it not available in my location, something your modded v6 didn't do.

Google um... has a unique way of dealing with their's and their partner's many devices. You might have seen this in the desktop playstore when you go to look on a version of an app, it will usually state "Current Version: Varies with device"
For example: The version of Google maps on my Asus Transformer Prime tablet(android runtime 4.1.1) is 7.0.2.700022101, The version of Google maps on my Wife's Samsung S3(android runtime 4.1.2) is 7.0.2.700022103. Both have been checked to be up-to-date.
I believe 7.0.2.700022113 is the version for Android 4.2.2. I honestly don't know what version 7.0.2.700022114 is for, maybe Android 4.3 for the Nexus?
Curiously, the difference between "7.0.2.700022113" vs. "7.0.2.700022114" in size is about 700kb. I was able to install 7.0.2.700022114 and run it, saw no difference visually.
Note: I did notice they moved the roads around in my personal property and removed the made up name labels. Looks like they down graded the line type as well. Still have a road going directly into my under construction concrete foundation hole. Good luck driving that route! Lmao
Looks really good and work well... only on wi-fi on 1047. also, no off line storage of maps... will go back to the last version I had.

I am able to use it on cellular.
And to answer your question about offline:
Go to an area you want to store offline and click on the search field at the top, a new screen will appear, click outside text field and the keyboard will disappear and reveal "Make this area available offline":
Click on it and it will start storing the data:
Afterwards, it will give you a confirmation:
This is on airplane mode going to an area where it hasn't been cached on the left.
Fun fact: in the 7.0 release, the developers "hid" the off-line feature by making you have to type "OK Maps" in the search field. You can still do that in this version.
Unfortunately NO. Not sure what happens with the other versions but with 6.14 sign-in for me does nothing. I click it and It goes back to the main screen.

OK so better to stick with the version the OP posted, thanks for the explanation it all makes sense and I would never have known better.
The version of skype found here http://69.162.109.42/Apk2Bar/bar/com...3.50469393.bar works better than the one in BBWorld, it actually worked superbly on my Q10 just tried it now! The BBWolrd one has never worked properly on my Q10!
