Is there a quick way to scroll to a specific date within the hub?

N and P will jump to the next, and previous day; but I need to jump to messages received on a specific day, several weeks ago.

I don't want to sit there and click N 40 times.
I'm asking if there is a way I can scroll to a specific date.

I don't think it can be done, at least not in this version of the hub. Maybe something to suggest to sirius27 to add to an upcoming release of Hub10 (beta zone)

    Ok, thanks tomh.

    -----------

Sirius, would it be easy to copy how the calendar functions with the go to date command? That would make it familiar for your users.

It would be fairly easy to copy the calendar UI. Tell you what, I was working on a gesture based date selector since the past hour. Will post it here in some time!

    Hi again!

The Date Indexer is ready (well it is good to go for the next Beta).

    How it works:
    1) Multi Finger swipe - right to left - on any list of emails/messages; The date indexer pops out from the right.
    2) The three indexers represent Year, Month, Day.
    3) Swipe between these and the list adjusts itself accordingly.
    4) Release the swipe and the Date Indexer hides to the right again!

Check it out in the gif below (Gifs are visible in the browser version):

Looks like you nailed the UI, awesome! I would have probably suggested something boring like adding a date filter to search but this looks very slick. I love how you can very quickly scroll to a date, can't wait to try this out in the next release... and more gestures is always good!

When you say it works on any list of emails, would it work on search and filters as that would be epic?

    Many thanks!

This is a Beta Zone bug. Close and reopen Beta Zone and it should let you download Hub10!
