I have 4 years worth old emails on my two Gmail accounts. I have a lot of information that I refer back to on a regular, but my Z30 only shows emails from a couple of weeks.

How do I sync all emails please? I don't need to have them on my phone physically but I definitely want access to them.

    Thank you,
    Em

If you want access, use your browser, or possibly the android Gmail app, though I'm not sure if it works. Never tried it.

Other solution requires you change your email settings to "keep forever", which could have a performance issue if you keep everything you receive.

Or just wait for a working "Remote Search" for IMAP account like Gmail in the next 10.3.1 official release

Wulf - using an external client kind of defeats the purpose of owning a BlackBerry device for me if I have the wonderful hub environment.

As for the settings, is this something to be set on a PC because I don't see such an option in the email setting? One would think this would be a basic feature...

Joshu - that's great! I hope they'll release the new version as a Xmas present.

The hub is wonderful, till you have years of emails in it, LoL. It's in your account settings, scroll down on each email and you'll see the keep for settings.

Josh, shhhhhh! That's supposed to be a secret toy surprise. Remote search is awesome, and should resolve your issue once10.3.1 is official.

Wulf I am sorry but I don't have an option you are mentioning. The last incoming emails are from 11/28, the field below that is just white. There is no text or option to click on. Can't seem to find anything like this in the setting either .

Open settings, accounts, select the Gmail email you want to change, scroll down to "Sync Timeframe" and click, choose a time frame.

Like wulf said. It appears you have the sync time frame set to two weeks. Set it to forever.

I have my sync time-frame set to forever and all my labels and older emails show up fine. I am running 10.3.0.1418 factory OS on my passport.

You have to delete and set up the account again. You only get one chance to set sync time frame -- when the account is first added.

If you have a paid Gmail account, you may have access to setting the account up as a Microsoft Exchange Active Sync Account (EAS). This will allow remote searching of all your email without having it all on the phone.

Yeah kinda weird eh? You'd think this is something that could be edited any time. Such is the way with tech though -- go with what works. Lol.

Amazing dose of irony. On 10.3.1 you can edit at anytime, but you can also remote search, so more than a couple weeks is generally unnecessary.
