Anyone else missing the glowing red corner on the PlayBook? This is a quick concept I've made for the Z10:



The LED light is great but I often keep my phone on All Alerts Off.
I'd love to see something like a slim glow like that on the left side of the screen, telling me to check my Hub.

To me, having it full screen height like that could suggest that something is glowing anxiously from the Hub =)

Wow that would be awesome! I really want to see BlackBerry incorporate the icons back into the top bar somehow, that way we don't always have to peek up to see what notification we have. Maybe even make an option toggle to turn "off" and "on" the way the notifications are seen. Toggles for the LED, toggles for the corner Playbook style notification, and toggles for notification icons next to the time and battery icons

Thanks for the feedback everybody! I knew I couldn't be the only one wanting something like this.

@Benjamin Black - I think I know a way this could be done through a 3rd party app, but it would be better (and likely much smoother) if it were part of the OS.

@eldricho - unfortunately, Beta zone is not available in my country yet. I'll try reaching out to BB people on twitter.

Yes, I was pointing out it should be possible since they did it on the pb.
