I have an animated gif that I want to use, not a large one at all, works everywhere else. Just seeing a picture with BBM. Any special parameters I need to use.?

They need to be a certain dimension and under a very small file size. Just Google it for specific numbers, but my guess is yours is too big.

Supported file types: GIF
Image must be in dimensions of a square, for example 30px x 30px, 40px x 40px, etc.
30px x 30px minimum
333px x 333px maximum
100px is optimal

Well, that explains why mine doesn't work then because it is not a square.

I have the same gif on my group picture I had before the update to os 10.2.1. Worked then, not now after I've updated to 10.2.1. So is it really about the file size. Did they reduce the file size permitted to run gif files on BBM?
