I've got a lot of sms messages on my OS7 9700 device that I want to put onto my Classic. (I changed from 9700 to Classic in July this year).

Prior to taking out the 9700 sim card I did a BB Desktop software complete backup. Then I used the BB Link to switch devices. Very few sms messages came across, (and they were blank inside), so I did a selective restore and now I have them all.

Whilst my text message info came onto my Classic, that is the phone number and date/time, there is no text message content - just an empty space where the message should be. And, where I sent Group text messages, I can hover over all the people that the text was sent to (images sit at top of the screen), but there is no message content.

And, instead of my sms section only showing texts, it shows all phone calls as well. So now currently every time I make a phone call it also inserts as an empty text.

On receiving this brand new, now unlocked, AT&T SQC100-2 device (in Aus), I performed an auto loader to the latest os: .2888.

So, essentially I have two issues:
    1. trying to restore the actual text message content from a 9700
    2. ensuring that all current phone calls made/received do not go into text messages

Anyone able to suggest anything please?
