I dont know what the future of BlackBerry 10 OS because I am not employed by BlackBerry.
However, what I can speak to with absolute certainty is that hardware running BlackBerry 10 is heavily under utilized. At the moment, BlackBerry Passport is the best device in the world. Get it now.
My company's R&D unit has invested heavily in time and resources to getting the best work, communications, security and business applications onto the platform.

Basically, it is one final attempt to spin a definitive negative into some resemblance of a positive, but I'm not so easily fooled by needless platitudes...
Long story short: Bluenoser was right after all.
The last hope is if Priv is worth it. Because I'm getting off BlackBerry 10. I will still keep my Z30 around as a wifi only "fun" legacy device and for Doom I still have on it, the sound that comes out of this device is killer.
But I want something else. My Nexus 5 is starting to bore me. I hope by the time I get Priv it is seamless.
