A lot of people like that landscape mode on ios8. People also like how the 8 active frames are stacked on the passport. Why not combine this for 10.3.2. In landscape mode you can multi task faster, and be more efficient at reading what's on your screen. BBM also needs a landscape mode (along with a bunch of other features I won't ge into).

10.3 looks excellent but there is still much that needs to be fixed and added. I think people have been asking for a landscape mode for a while since BB10'S launch. This idea is only for all touch devices.

    I agree.

BBM also needs a landscape mode
It actually does have a roundabout landscape mode. Open it from the Hub. I know, not that same.. just saying. It's there, just not fully implemented.

I would love to see a landscape mode in 10.3, the multi tasking possibilities would be great.

It would be a better way for people to multi task. Also, the quick settings drop down would be good in landscape mode as well.

I agree with Blackberry_Boss and the CrackBerry boss (Bla1ze) that this needs to be done and it's really close. Good job on the mockup Pttptppt. I think it can be done. The only thing is that as soon as you enter the phone app it should force portrait and maybe have an option not to. Portrait just makes sense for the phone app. Everything else would be fine in landscape or portrait.

I think landscape phone app would be awesome. Instead of a long tall phone next to your ear, now you have a big sideways brick that's hard to hold :sarcasm:

Without sarcasm, I could use landscape phone app because I use the speaker phone option at least half the time. As long as the phone senses its orientation and adjusts the UI quickly and smoothly, it'd be all good.

Wondered since beginning why my Z10 not has full landscape mode. Always turning the phone is not good. Also quick settings should be available in landscape mode.

I think you can do that already. What it means is that multitasking is easier from the home screen. It looks better and makes the OS look similar across all devices.

no, the home screen is vertical and very narrow when you watch on TV
you could have it fully wide screen - the home screen, apps etc

Yes please to this suggestion. Even BlackBerry os7 had landscape mode if I recall correctly (torch and curve?).
