New BB10 user here - just picked up a Q10 today.

I am having some issues adding email.

    Gmail - added works great
    Hotmail - added works great
    Outlook - added works great

Now I also have an email account for my website and its on Bluehost..for the life of me I can't add it! I keep on getting:

"This email provider may not be trustworthy. Personal information may not be protected."

    I click continue and get:

"Make sure your email address and password are correct.

If you're trying to add a work account, make sure your enterprise activation code has not expired. Contact your adminsitrator for support."

Does anyone know how to resolve this? I had the 9700 and no issues whatsoever adding this email account.

    Thanks

I would start with contacting Bluehost about the messages you received.

Contact your provider. If they are any good they will guide you through the setup. If not change provider.

    Why would the provider matter?

I have no issues on my bold 9700....why can't I just add the email the same way I did for hotmail, gmail, etc..

Sorry if this is a dumb question

Sounds like your provider is doing some nonstandard things, like self signed certificate. Not a problem, you just need to know what the parameters are and set them up.

It works easier for BIS because the connection is done from a BlackBerry server where it is easier to deal with non standard setup.

Have you tried advanced setup? It you hit advanced at the bottom during setup, you can fill the fields manually.

I went thru the same thing with the email account attached to my own Web domain. As already suggested, you really just need the server info from the host (incoming mail server, outgoing, etc.)
