I have someone who found a Passport in their desk, forgotten from a few years ago.

They cant remember the password, or anything about it.

How do we wipe it or get back into it?

    Is it possible?

We tried the wipe, but it asked for a password....

Today, I received an emergency call from "Microsoft". My windows security certificate had expired.
    Sure it did.

You could try hypnotism to get him to remember his password.

You will need to figure out what the username is that it was set up with previously (an email address) . Secondly you will need access to that email so you can reset the password online. Hope this helps

on reset doesn't it just ask you to type "blackberry" to confirm? I might be wrong, but the easiest option is to reset password I had to do it a few days ago having two BB IDs one for Android and BB I had forgotten my BB one, took less than 5 minutes to get back in.

just checked my passport yeah it would need your BB ID password 1st, however in the settings under Blackberry ID it will bring up the email address it's registered to, so unless he/she doesn't have access to it anymore it won't be possible this way,

I'm assuming it's been there for a while can you use the latest autoloader and wipe it while upgrading? or just autoload to wipe, can't remember if you need a password for that

    Hey wiz,

This is not going to be possible. There are those who suspect you might be trying to break into a phone, hence the comments about "Microsoft." You would need to disable Blackberry Protect for this phone, which would require knowledge of the Blackberry ID and password used to set it up.

If this is just a phone password on the other hand an autoloader would take care of it; however, you run the risk of discovering the Blackberry ID problem once the autoloader reloads the OS.

If it's legitimately not a stolen phone and you really want to get into it, look up "Chimera Tool". That's all I will tell you.
