Even though it's nothing special, I found out that if your downloading from BlackBerry World you can view the overall download progress by swiping down from the top when on the home screen (the quick settings menu). Just another way to keep track of your transfers when your doing something else.

There's also a history of everything you downloaded if you click on the progress bar.

I believe Box does something similar where u can view your sync from that same quick pull down menu.
