    Hi there,

When I forward e-mails with attached files the recipients don't receive the attachments.

So far the problem seems to occur in both Z30 and Q10 and is related with. Pdf files sent to my e-mail from Apple users, I could see the attachments but after I forward the mail the attachments disappear and I can't see then in "sent" mails either.

Is there anyone experiencing the same issue and is there a resolution available?

I just tested it forwarding a message between 2 of my e-mail accounts and the attachments forwarded no problem. I am running the 10.3.0.700 leak, which version are you on?

Sounds like you might NOT be downloading the attachments to your phone before forwarding. You will need to download all attachments before forwarding or they will not be sent with the email.

The problem still exists, even if I download the .pdf attachment.

If I try to forward an e-mail message received by Apple users (they seem to appear with some .html files attached) the .pdf attachments are not included in the forwarded files, only the .html attachments (all named ATT001.html) are in.

    What a weird issue...

It could be a problem with the actual forwarding action.

Instead, try composing a new email to the new recipient, and add file by attachments found in hub.

I don't have a problem with forward, and adding files from hub work all the time.

    Good luck.

Is this from only iPhone users?

    Yes,

Only for mails sent by Mac or iPhone users, probably via their e-mail account like Outlook or whatever, because all their mail contain these ATT001.HTML attachments.

I tried everything but when I press forward to one of those mails the real attachments just don't appear in the list with the attached files.

Ask them to try sending from a different mail service, Gmail or something like that. If the issue continues, it is their configuration and not your BlackBerry.

Mac mail has had issues in the past when improperly configured.

I just came back from IOS and it's a problem with forwarded emails with attachments. The attachments would never come through. It would only happen using IOS and my iPhone 5/5s.

So if the files are coming from an iPhone, I can almost guarantee its at the IOS end. One of the reason I hate the iPhone for email. I have complained about it forever and never seems to be fixed.

I had a similar problem with attachments sent from Outlook. Irrespective of what was sent .doc, .pdf, it would show up as a Win.dat in my BB10 AND my yahoo mail would show the attachment logo but no attachment. The problem was in how the sender had their Outlook settings.
