    Hi There,

Any idea why Z10 can't do that?

BlackBerry Bold has an option to choose what email ( providing they are set up) to use for forwarding an email.

    BlackBerry 10 does not.
So if my Gmail receives an email and I won't to forward to work related people they receive a Gmail.
    Input pls?

Once you select 'forward' it doesn't show a 'from' bar at the top? If yes, click it, do you then see multiple accounts?

I only have one account on my device, hence I can't test it. But, that sounds like how it should be set.

    Moving to BB10 forum.

This is not present on the Zed 10, not sure if this is due to the changes in BIS or if it is because my account has personal and work sides.

My Z10 has multiple accounts and is a personal only device and I can't do that. This is one of the features from the old OS that I really miss.

Then pull down where compose is. The other account will show up. Go to crackberry email tips.

Doesn't work for me. I've got multiple accounts set up, but when I pull down where compose is, it's not editable. As a work around, I run the free K9 email program, which has reply as options. The team that created the hub email set up did a nice job keeping it simple, but look at the depth of customizable settings in K9. We need those.

Weird. Works for me everytime on latest os.

You can also change this under Settings > Accounts > Defaults.

For those saying it works, does it make a difference doing a Reply or Forward? Can you select which account using both of these options? I think in the OP they were mentioning they were trying to forward.

The way I understand the op is if he received an email from someone then he want to forward it to different people he is thinking that the people will receive a Gmail mail.. so no those people will receive the email text only but people would know that he send it from gmail

Im on 10.0.10.90 and can't do that. Yes I get the pull down but unlike compose a new message I can't change it on a reply or forward.

Can you attach a screen cap showing how you did it? I think you misunderstood what we are trying to do. Whether you forward or reply, the original account can't be changed once you pull down from compose.
This is a feature BB needs to restore asap

I started this topic and I thank you for all the input.
It does not work on my BlackBerry 10, software is 100% up to date.

I tried reply, forwarding.... it doesn't work.

    PS
One more future that must be addressed is the option to copy an email address sent to you with out the need to save it as a contact..

    Help someone?

To copy the email of an account that sent to you, long press and select copy name. This copies both the name of the sender and the address.

I can confirm running latest ATT OS that I cannot forward an email using any account other than the one that received it. There is an obvious reason for this on the work side though, personal I am unsure.

Maybe it's a Verizon 10.9 limitation. The from doesn't show by default for me either, but pushing down (like n options gesture swipe) let's me change the email.
