So my media card somehow got corrupted during my OS upgrade, and I had to reformat it to get it working again. Problem is, now that I've done that, my imac won't recognize it, so I can't re-load all my music and pictures. Does anyone know how to get the card to work in both my imac and my Q10? Before the upgrade, I was able to swap the card back and forth no problem.

What files system did you format it with? On which unit did you format it in?

I formatted the card using my Q10 - Settings/Storage and Access/Format Media Card. There were no options given (none that I noticed, anyway) for different types of formatting. Everything worked fine except my imac wouldn't recognize the card. I was able to resolve the issue by plugging the card into a USB port on my mac, opening up the Disc Utility feature and "erasing" the card. Not really sure how this all works, but when the card is "erased" all the folders remain in place such as Books, Camera, Documents, Music etc. Once the card was "erased" I was able to load all my music and pictures back on just by clicking and dragging as usual. Put the card back in the Q10 and everything works fine. The card was not encrypted...that was one of the first things I checked.

Default partition format for BB10 is FAT32. I really don't recommend this. If you're running 10.2.2 or higher go with exFAT.
