I've checked the forums and most people with wifi issues seem to not be able to connect to a network after its discovered.

    Here's my issue:
I can't see any networks. On switching the wifi on, nothing happens, and when I navigate to some other menu, and back to the wifi menu it says wifi is off. So, if i switch it on, go back, it will show me wifi : off in the networks menu

    Any fix/help?

Tried hard reset, and using phone without the sim but no use

in that case you will need to reload the OS for better solve of the issue

Delete them one by one until you determine which one is creating the conflict.

No offense, but the heck with that!

OP, got to device monitor, storage, click each android app and delete it. Reboot and get all your settings done. Then you can add them back one at a time.

Deleted all android apps, and did a hard reset (twice)

    Still same issue.

It is probably a bug of 1055. They will fix it, but till then you should try to change the wifi settings in the access point. Use 54 Mps instead of 300 Mps. It worked for me.

LOL - even a better suggestion. I kind of suspected the one that was causing me the problem and deleted and voila all good.

If you need to backup some stuff try the app fire chest, that will help you a lot
