    I was suffering from a few issues that just wouldn't go away. For example a text msg that wouldn't go away, calendar not able to sync with PC.

    The Fix is to WIPE. Don't waste hours trying to fix the unfixable.

    When in doubt, a wipe or reset usually does fix annoying things.

    I had an email stuck in the hub and the only thing that cured it was a wipe as well.

    In the past a reboot would clear the issue.

    If by wipe you mean security wipe, then if wiping works to cure a problem then that probably means that the problem was due to corrupted data rather than bad software.
