- Hi!! I recently loaded 10.3.2.500 on my BlackBerry Z10 STL 100-2 and I found it pretty awesome and smooth, battery life improved way more than I was expecting, incredibly fast, and with features that are really useful, like opening a new active frame while private browsing
But... since there's 10.3.2.680.. I searched for differences but couldn't find
Can someone list what's new in 680 that wasn't in 500? And If I should or shouldn't update it
Thanks!!

- Oh, and is it only me or someone else's lock screen animation didn't change? I've seen some videos showing the new unlocking movement but mine still shows the bright effect...

Battery does improve after 2-3 days of use. The meter plunges down fast when used, but it actually not quite that bad. I actually managed to have 2 days with a rather heavy use for hours of translating and networking.
This is the one.

Here's some real usage in my Z30
Attachment 35332205-17-15 05:34 PMLike 0 - This OS has been kicking my ***, my phone randomly locks up, when i use inst10 or igrann it gets to a part where the picture doesnt load and if i close it my phone is frozen for like 10-15 seconds. Battery life is also sketchy, Phone does get warmer while doing some hub usage. Hopefully with the next release we can downgrade, i rather the newest 10.3.105-17-15 10:15 PMLike 0
- I've posted the same disconnect issue between my Passport and Legend. It has occurred with every OS I've installed including this one. My wife has a Legend so this morning I switched our two Legends and sure enough her's disconnected as well. During calls there aren't any problems.
This morning I went out and bought a Jabra Extreme BT earpiece, it's charging now. When it's fully charge I'll test it.
The Legend and Passport issue has also been reported on the Plantronics Forum by myself and others.

- I've had issues with my Bluetooth when using skype only ,i finally figure it out ,it was the mifi device that i was using as a wifi router ,once i bridge it and connected to a regular router my problems went away , i hope that's helping you but if you have issues with the regular phone calls it's got to be hardware issue or incompatibility between os and hardware

- For those of you with Plantronics BT issues, my 2 cents:
I've owned many BT headsets, 3 of which Plantronics. 2 of them were disconnecting with either of my phones (Q10 and Android phone). I am not saying that could be your case but Plantronics are no immune to this issue so just make sure it's not the headset by testing with another phone.

- There were Bluetooth connection problems reported here early on with both 500 and 680, but I haven't seen anything more about that lately.
BT connection is the main problem I'm having with 680, and it is significant.
I have two BT devices, one, a Plantronics M165 headset that would randomly disconnect at times under 10.3.1.xxxx but not all that often. Now, under 10.3.2.500 and 680 it won't hold a connection for more than a few seconds, /except/ if I am actually on a phone call, and then it will hold for as long as I'm on the call. Making this a bit more complicated, I started using a replacement (new) unlocked Passport (old one had USB port hardware issue) at the same time I started on 10.3.2.680, so I wondered whether this could be BT hardware related rather than OS related, but given that BT works on a call, I doubt it. I contacted Plantronics, and they said it sounded like an incompatibility with the OS. I've also read here--maybe in this thread, much earlier--that Plantronics headsets don't play nice with BB.
My other BT device is the Pebble watch with Talk2 Watch. i can make this work, but it won't hold the connection, either, very well. It could be that T2W needs to be updated to work better with 10.3.2, but I think it's a problem with the watch itself not holding the BT connection with the Passport.
So--is anyone else currently having any BT connection problems with 10.3.2.680, and especially with a Passport? I'm tempted to wipe and then re-autoload 10.3.2.680, but don't particularly want to spend the time and energy required. Also, with the replacement PP I had autoloaded 500 then patched up to 680, but I did restore the Settings I had had on my old Passport that had 500 installed.
Lots of variables here, as I said in another post much earlier. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Edit: I'm going to post this as well, in slightly different form, on another thread, "Passport Bluetooth won't disconnect." I hope no one minds, but if so, the Moderator here can feel free to delete this post.

Just a thought.05-18-15 08:27 AMLike 0 - Does the flash browser work on this OS? Does Geekbench load like it used to on 10.2.1?
Posted via CB1005-18-15 09:27 AMLike 0 - While I don't have a Plantronics headset, have you tried using this to see if there are any firmware updates for your headset?

Just a thought.05-18-15 12:48 PMLike 0 - Here's a new, unrelated and pretty minor issue with 680.
Once a day, at about the same time (but not exactly), one of my two IMAP mail accounts (Gmail) gives me a notification that the account has to be updated with a correct password. When I go to open the notification, it says the account is not available. The Gmail is still working for email, calendar and contacts. No new password is required. I did remove the account and re-establish it, just to see what was going on, but it kept doing the same thing. The other IMAP account (Earthlink, which now offers both POP and IMAP) never does this.
I had a similar issue with my Skype account but simply deleted that account.
This is on a relatively new replacement Passport in which I autoloaded 500, upgraded to 680 via the 500 to 680 patch, and restored everything (Settings, Media and App data from my old PP with 500 installed), all about a week ago.05-18-15 03:51 PMLike 0 - Here's a new, unrelated and pretty minor issue with 680.

Diplomatic Passport 05-18-15 04:02 PMLike 0 - Thanks! I just DL'ed it--amazing what people will come up with for a specific problem, isn't it? It says it will only clean "exterior accounts" as opposed to "interior accounts," whatever that means. Gmail was my only exterior account, but way down the interior account list there were also three Gmail interior accounts and also my other IMAP account. So, I cleaned the Gmail exterior account, it disappeared, and we'll see what happens, I guess. My Gmail is still working perfectly for mail, calendar, and contacts.05-18-15 04:21 PMLike 0
