I Had the same issue and first way solve it easy
    First way
    1. Uninstall whatsapp
2.install a android file manager it must be apk like es or u can use Rar file browser ,i use it because I have installed it,
3.then find that whatsapp file and delete
4.and again goes instructions carefully its easy and works
You can see video of instructions .

    If first way dont work

    Second way

Forget official whats app and again goes instructions carefully with Gbwhatsapp

    Third way

Is use rm command to remove wrong link that I not recommended for u because u wrong link and for delete it maybe again goes wrong and cant fix with this

Seems like we dont need to move the WhatsApp folder, just delete it, create another WhatsApp folder in external_sd and link the folder, its not about moving the folder, but just make sure there is no WhatsApp folder in misc/android and the WhatsApp folder in external_sd exist, cmiiw

Yes its possible because its linking but have some risk
It Must be a destination so as people can see it and trust instructions

And some time if they go wrong and they cant fix it because there isnt any file to see where go wrong

    Hello hamed ghorbani ,
Many thanks for doing such a great job!
Here is my experience with your solution for the whatsapp:
    - calls/ video-calls work
    - story status works fine
    - sending GIFs, photos, files, audio and location works
    - sending photos and videos from the app-camera works
-sending photos from SD card / device manager through the share button works also.
I can't send videos through the application from SD card using the gallery option in the app. Even from device manager trying to share the video with a friend in whatsapp is not possible. It comes the message: "Video could not be loaded, try again later." (please, see the screeenshot)Finally, the Android WhatsApp media sharing problem is solved!-1.pngFinally, the Android WhatsApp media sharing problem is solved!-2.pngFinally, the Android WhatsApp media sharing problem is solved!-3.png

hi dear thanks for Raised the issue
its just because off whatsapp limitation
you can send video just 16mb And i test now and understand
    in bb10,
you need crop or resize your video with another app
    whats app cant do it
or google it and you can find a lot of way to increase file size limit in whats app but some way need root and not work

    Thanks a lot buddy,
compared to the native application it came no message that the video is too large and big. That was the problem.

With video compression less than 16 mb it works like a champ.

    best regards

    Yes its fix and np

In official whatsapp there isn't a side to choose directly mp3 or files
i dont know why there isn't or why we cant do

    But take it easy

You can send mp3 or any file by file manager
you must find it in file manager and hold and select share and choose whatsapp then it will be send to anyone u want
for documents if you keep them in download folder in internal storage you can send them directly

I followed all the steps and the App seems to work fine, can see emoji's, can access my photos and attach them to send but then it says "sharing failed, please try again". I downloaded the most recent WhatsApp from Google play store and moved it to the media card. I did not do the WAA fixer, or any patches. Do I have to go back and patch it before I do this step? I thought that moving it as directed would fix the media sharing.

    No patching is needed.

If you followed every step then it should work fine.

I downloaded an Android File Manager and it has found 15 WhatsApp files most of which are on the sdcard. When I look at what is on the external_sd it seems to be a file of backup, and another file of photos only. Does that mean I moved the wrong file? I am not a "computer person", so was happy that I was able to get Google play running and downloaded Android WhatsApp in the first place! Should I delete that Android WhatsApp and start again, and If I delete it is it best to do that throughout the file manager? Sorry for all the 'basic' questions.

You are missing the space between 'cd' and front slash. So it didn't change the directory

    The command is:
    cd /accounts/1000/shared/misc/android
