I did not install Android assistant for shutdown WhatsApp. Just closed it via device monitor. Works also.

So nobody has to buy Apps like Waat-A-Fix anymore! This works even better!

Just one point I realized: It might be, there is already a "Android"-Folder on the SD-card. Then just use this one! :-)

Its irrelevant to whatsapp!

Hamed: in my case there was already an "Android"-Folder on my SD-Card. So I could not open another "Android"-folder. Maybe a other app already installed them. I just used the existing "Android"-folder and put the misc/whatsapp-folder out of the device memory in it. It works as you descriped it - except there was already a Android - Folder.

Aaanderstand, may be you put your sd card in original android device with android 4.4 or 5 more it should and can make this android folder on your sd,

Anyway it works, an its great.

Just the typical Android type notification. It does not have to be in an active frame.

The reason why it didn't work on yesterday was, the folder name is no WhatsApp for me under misc/Android. It was different.

Now I have changed last command accordingly and it works like charm!!!

Pretty sure you need to remove BB10's WhatsApp and install android's WhatsApp to make this work.

But one thing I'd like to know. Could you do this workaround FIRST before logging in to WhatsApp?
