Download WhatsApp from WhatsApp for Android.

Install app, tap OUTSIDE the box when warned about Google Play Services.

Run patch from BlackBerry World:

You will need an SD card for this to work.

I have problems here as well, whatsapp works but can't send videos or photo's.

I don't get any Google play services notification when installing.

So just to clarify, I put a SD card in the phone.

Do I need to do any other of the prerequisites mentioned in the first post or do I proceed to install the android whatsapp and then just run the whatsfixer patch?

You probably don't have Cobalt's stack installed (which you don't have to).

File sharing still doesn't work wit the exception of sharing a contact.

When sending a photo it says; The file you picked was not a photo.
When trying to download a photo that was send it says; Download failed, the download was unable to complete. Please try again later.
When trying to send a picture directly from the camera is says; Camera failed.

I tried the BG Shell method first, had file sharing problems, I deleted whatsapp and re-installed, download and run whatsapp fixers, done button turns grey and still can't do any file sharing. Tried several times, restarted phone etc.

Good evening... I downloaded whatsapp from the official site but when I try to install the screen is showing processing for ever. Phone is a BlackBerry Leap.. Any help?

It is working now, deleted everything again, connected it to BB Blend and deleted some Whatsapp files that the phone didn't allow me to delete, reinstalled everything again and it is working now.

Good morning... yes I rebooted the phone already. And I tried now it's happening with all apk I try to install... all is stopped with "processing" for ever.
So even if it's not a Whatsapp problem is there anyone who can help here?

If 10.3.2.2876 there were a few issues with the Android runtime that a patch fixed

How strange. That release did not have any Android bugs AFAICR. Unfortunately I cannot help here other than suggesting you uninstall other Android apps, maybe try with just one to see if that 'unblocks' the Android runtime... hopefully real experts like @conite might be able to help? Thanks!

Sounds like your Android Runtime is corrupted.

You will have to reload your OS.

Would it be possible / risky / downright silly in this case to try and use the runtime patch that fixed problems in 10.3.2.2876? It does not appear when searching for it but still there if going to the right link.
Maybe worth trying anyway before reloading the OS, should not do any harm.

Hi,
This WhatsTheFix-1_0_0_1.bar does not work. I installed and followed the instruction, but I get the same error message that Whatsapp is no longer supported.

The Runtime patch is ONLY for 10.3.2.2876.
