BTW, just curious, but why is this thread buried under the BB Classic forum?

Isn't 10.3.1 for ALL current devices and not just for the Classic?

I would have expected this under the main BlackBerry OS 10 forum. That's where I've been waiting for it to pop up.

I started it because 10.3.1 is related to bringing compatibility to the Classic. It was meant to bring about more speculation and details about the device and how the toolbelt works with BB10. I didn't expect everyone to jump in here talking about the software leaks. That subject is better suited for the BB10 OS/Leaks section.

Ah I see. Then this thread got locked for a little too. I think people get too wound up when leaks / beta releases come into play. Hopefully it'll drop by tomorrow when they publicly announce it with a blog post.

Anyway, the roadmap has been rolled back to about a month ago, so this release is on track for an August release (sigh...). They'll probably restore all the links, missing or not, tomorrow.

Or push it back to October, since it's BlackBerry.

Yeah, pretty bizarre. Earlier it said N11 landed. They definitely didn't plan this well. But I doubt everyone is digging into this as much as some of us are anyways.

it says me that if i want install 10.3 SDK and i don't know if is 10.3.1 or 10.3

My guess is battery is going to be amazing since they are trying hard to address this PIM and system consumption.

I just hope camera also for z10 during night or dark mode.

And bring voice activated assistant, better picture editor, docs to go,

Lols can't really think of more. Maybe some way to run android apps headless. And compatibility with some Microsoft office apps.

Viber works headless. I mean I'm able to receive notifications and calls when not opened in the active frame. Maybe some apps work in the background, which is good.

Edit: Nevermind, found it during the boot, duh. There was a pop-up the first time that covered it.

Edit: But looking through it so far, I'm happy it has more notification options, but still no holster profiles??? Very disappointed... Like with my Bold 9900, I want the option for while in normal, that it'll only vibrate while in holster. When you turn vibrate on, it should then give the options of while in holster, while out of holster, and always...

Edit: And still it's a 2 step process just to see the date if you start from within an app?? What the heck?? Is it really such a terrible thing for it to show the date as you swipe up like how the battery percentage shows up?? I hate having to minimize the app, then swipe down from the top, just to see something that should be quickly and easily accessible...
