If I'm not wrong, he had an SDK hybrid months ago of 10.3 to put on our phones while waiting for the proper leaks. It wasn't a daily driver at all, but it was on our phones. Somehow people even managed to put apps in there and use it for daily use. So when you say "I have never seen an SDK run on a BlackBerry device", I answer that we have seen SDK running in devices!. I hope this will help you develop more comfortably!

Everyone knows SDK stands for Software Development Kit, right? Ie, the latest version of momentics that builds codes to run on a 10.3.1 OS (an SDK is not an OS). It may come with a simulator, but an SDK is NOT an OS.

If a simulator is released in tandem to the SDK there's a possibility of the OS being extracted. I don't know who would be capable of such a feat or how. Just a possibility.

If only the simulator is released then we're SOL, BlackBerry10 compiled for x86 is pretty useless.

Usually BlackBerry releases the Dev OS along with the SDK so there shouldn't be a problem.

Back on topic: someone made an assumption at the very beginning saying/hoping that the PassPort keyboard could be used-with 10.3.1-as a trackpad not only for scrolling and selecting text. Is that right?!? :-O

I've not yet. I'm waiting for the Momentics beta repo to be live so I can update to 2.1.1. If by that time there aren't SDK OS Autoloaders available, then I'll download the simulator.
