When tapping on a Facebook notification in the hub, the screen dims slightly like it's about to load up Facebook, then brightens up back without doing anything else.

Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks.

Try deleting the account, the re add it. That worked for me.

What helps is going to hub and hit compose, then choose Facebook choose a contact and then hit cancel. Now try opening a Facebook notification again.

This thread,http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=903725 which goes back a few weeks, has more detail. It's a known bug. Best temporary fix that appears to work for most is the quick change to the Facebook account settings as described in the thread. It's a pain in the *** and, IMHO, should be fixed tout de suite.

I go to the app manager and close Facebook, open it again and starts to work again.

There is no damn solution! I've been searching since the new update of FB for a permanent fix and nothing. All of the "fixes" are only temporary. And it's a damn shame that BB hasn't fixed this issue

I've tried that and it doesn't work for me. The hub Facebook messages are still frozen and non actionable. Only temporary fix has been the Facebook account message sync off, the back on, while opening the Facebook app in between. This works usually for a day.

Incidentally, when I look at the App Manager and specifically look at the Facebook app, I see that the ovary used goes down to zero at the time the Facebook to hub syncing has failed.
