I just mean the concept of owning one becomes more attractive as the days go by, I should've worded it better. To answer your question though, I do think that the aesthetic shots of the devices screen near the bottom looks great when I see those types of images on CrackBerry articles.

my understanding is that blend still requires intermediate bb servers to work - with bb moving resources to android, no blend for priv announcement after all this time, and this fb update further speeding up the decline of bb10's user base, i feel like it's the next to go i would love to be wrong though!!

edit: fwiw, i just fired up blend and i see several https calls being made through a blackberry.net rdns service from what it looks like.

Well it's not had an update since I believe July 2015, it will probably be one of the next to go.

yes, agree! i knew chen was a bb10 guy at heart when he kept trying to swipe up from the bottom when he was giving a priv demo to that reporter!

There are no plans to update any of the BB10 SDKs, APIs, Android Runtime or even add features and roll out 10.4

I had already removed the so called 'update' of course. I tried some Android alternatives, but no notifications there either, so I ended up buying Face10 and Messenger Pro. It's not a perfect solution, but it works... Hub integration and headless... what else can I say...

Anyway, I decided to do a hard reset and I actually got the old Facebook for BlackBerry app back on my phone, hehe, with all the old (albeit sub par) functionality back. I know, it's probably going to stop working at April 1., but it is nice to at least have the messaging functionality back. The Messenger app by Nemory Studios just cannot be compared to the native one.

Although I knew better then to update when I seen it, this is a great idea, why didn't I think of that! It does make sense! Your OS Version so others know in the off chance it even matters? I think it will slowly stop functioning versus just fully stop as they say but who knows I to also swapped fullyl to face ten and all the goodies only is around five dollars!

On a positive partially off topic you see today they also fixed Twitter and it's the REAL app? Maybe it's facebook and NOT black berry as they need the api's from Facebook to do it! I stick to and fully believe all these apples and droids are truly afraid of what BB10 "could be" if the cat got out the bag hence they hold BB10 back in these ways!...
