    Is it possible to use the Facebook app and not have every contact sync to your phone making a clusterf$*# mess of your contact list? I know you can choose Facebook only contacts but when you want to see your normal phone contacts it always shows the Facebook ones with them. I don't use it myself but I'm trying to get someone to upgrade from a Curve to bb10. I think the Facebook contacts issue will prevent that. (actually I'm sure of it if I can't find a solution)

    I've never found a working way outside of not even using the BB10 FB app.

    When you open your contacts , swipe down and go into settings,
    Toggle facebook contacts off.
    That definitely un shows the FB contacts on my Z10

    OK I found a way. I just deleted every one that I didn't want. It seems it is a 1 time sync so deleting them keeps them off your phone. I also noticed that any Facebook contact that has a phone number shows in the contact tab through your phone app. I think this may have saved the day...

    Now that you mentioned that I have done this before but it would randomly turn back on.... that is why I deleted it in the first place....

    Something else I noticed is that I refused permission to my calendar but it added all the events anyway.......... maybe I'm missing something obvious.... I dunno.....
