    Is this coming to a new version of BBM? OS7 used FB profile pix if there was no dedicated BBM pic. That (stupidly) wasn't in the OS10 rollout. I have an old OS 10.1, but a pretty new BBM (white theme, with Channels), but still no FB pix in BBM profiles. Has anyone seen that in the BBM released last night or in 10.2?

    Sorry, No. Perhaps in another update...
    For now, it looks like we're stuck looking at whatever contact photo our BBM contacts choose to use -- if any.
    The OCD in me hates having no contact photos.

    How on earth is this so complicated for them to implement? They did it in the disastrous Contacts application right from the start.

    Beats me. It could be one of those "By design" decisions that you an I happen to disagree with.
    Or, it could be related in some way to the BB Channels requirement.
