Facebook App (native) appears to have stopped working on my Z10 and I received another message from Facebook saying that Facebook Messenger has stopped working as of today, November 30.

I guess the Facebook Messenger warning message wasn't just referring to OS7.

I tried sending a message from the Hub and it shows up on Facebook (web browser) but when I go back into the Hub, the message is no longer there.

I have tried replying to my Facebook from a friend's account and it no longer shows up in the Hub but shows up fine in web browser.

I rebooted my phone and nothing shows up in the Hub after 4pm today.

Everything was working perfectly until this afternoon.

Is anyone else seeing this behaviour?

Which app is the best to continue to have full notifications in the Hub?

    Yup, same here.

I guess they did give warning but did they ever say Nov 30 anywhere?

I guess this coincides with 10.3.3 going live. Sucks. I wasn't going to update due to rumors that FB in the hub would be taken out. But looks like it doesn't matter.

This happened quite some time ago. Now it's just a link to the browser.

You were told to stop using that app back in March. - Facebook for BlackBerry 10 has been updated, but you're not going to like it.

This is just terrible, i was so happy with that native fb app, it was super fast, smooth and had integration to hub. I'm really dissapointed. Any programmers here that can solve this? I have to use Android Messenger, which is super slow, laggy and terrible! Please, save us!

Yeah but has anyone ever listened to these warnings, or have they put their heads in the sand and act shocked when the truth comes to pass?

Nah, for the most part might as well talk to a brick wall. These days, few read beyond that headline. If the relevant info is not in the headline then it doesn't matter.

I haven't updated to the new OS and, indeed, my FB messenger on BB10 has stopped working but I still get notifications in the HUB.

Why? It says exactly what it should say. If people are using an app they were told to stop using long ago, expect things to break. If they weren't using an app they were told long ago to stop using, this wouldn't be an issue. No one would have even noticed.

Again, given there was no official Facebook Messenger app for BlackBerry 10, there's nothing to discontinue here for BlackBerry 10 users, besides, the Facebook app itself on BlackBerry 10 has already been made a web based solution. Only those who refuse to update to that version and are running the old app would have anything here to discontinue and there should be no expectation that it would continue to work anyway. You're using an app that is technically no longer supported as it once was and could stop working at any point. There's nothing seemingly new here for BlackBerry 10 users, it's just a poorly worded email being sent out.

I have hung on to the old Facebook app to keep my contacts and calendar. After I updated to 10.3.3 I checked BlackBerry World for updates and the fb app was gone, even though I had a persistent reminder that I had an update to it. I thought I'd accidentally updated it when I saw the new version as "installed". But then I saw this notification when I tried to open Fb. Looks like 10.3.3 borked it.
