There has been no official announcement (Usually there isn't) of when it will be released for all in market devices. The rumour is Feb. But that is a rumour. All boils down to when the carriers decide to allow it.

The official update probably won't fix things for you.

You've been moving up and down versions so much that your settings and your backups are corrupt.

You will probably need to start fresh anyway. If you did, you would probably find that the latest leaks are superb.

    Absolutely correct!!
I have noticed over the last couple years that when I upgrade I am actually using damaged files, which ended up giving me the same issues that I previously had on the device/s. I now upgrade every single time with a fresh new install, works so much better, and the phone always "starts" off faster and with no bugs. I even do this periodically between upgrades since we haven't seen many in the last little while.

Run the latest autoloader for 10.3.1.2072. Then do not restore using Link. Set everything up from scratch, and download all of your apps again.

If you do not keep your contacts in the cloud, you can use a 3rd party backup app like Ultimate Backup, where you can backup and restore your contacts using your sd card.

But again, do not use Link to restore anything.

Good luck. It's a pain, but well worth it.

It's about time BlackBerry does things totally different, like apple does just push out the updates directly to the device bypassing the carriers.

    That is not possible.

As I've stated before, BlackBerry is not a big enough company to provide global technical support. They must rely on the carriers for this. Therefore a carrier can not be expected to support a version of an OS they have not been trained on, and have not approved. I wish BlackBerry had more clout to speed up the carriers' approval process, but they don't.

Apple does their own support, so they can do it.

AFAIK, It will be released right after BB 10.3.1 for Z10. After all Z10 was released before Z30.

Sorry, Man. Could not resist ;-)

They also push updates through Link and Blend so you don't have to wait for the carriers.

This is not accurate. You won't get it any faster this way.

    They will be gone.

That's the problem with playing CoC when you can't sign in. You can recover your village if you have an Apple or an Android device that you can start playing on instead if you email SuperCell.

But unless you start fresh, it sounds like your phone will never work properly again.

For WhatsApp open the settings within the app and do a backup, then use the file manager app and navigate to Device > misc > whatsapp > backup and copy the latest back up to your sdcard or cloud service of your choice, once you're done setting your device after a fresh and clean install, before you set whatsapp again, copy your whatsapp backup file back again and whatsapp will ask you if you want to restore your conversations

Is it possible to do only a custom backup of whats app and coc and restore it on 10.2.1.3062??

Yes. Except that you need two components to backup CoC. You need both the CoC app AND the "blackberry runtime" component (part of apps in Link). It's the "blackberry runtime" part that is often the most corrupted part of a backup. It is a huge file, and contains a heaping pile of mysterious components and settings.

The solution for WhatsApp is in the last post.
