So this new thing showed up in my text messages when I went to send a message to two people at once asking to enable a group conversation. It says I'll be charged for every message sent to each recipient at a normal rate and that every message will be sent as an MMS (I have free MMS messaging) so I was wondering if someone could shed some light on this new feature. I'm running BlackBerry 10.3.1.1115 or something like that.

Some people get charged per sms message by their carrier (if they don't have unlimited texting on their plan)

SO:
Suppose your carrier charges you 15 cents per message. If you sent a group text to 2 people that text will cost you 30 cents (2x15) send it to a 3 person group & it will cost you 45 cents (3x45)

That's just what that message is saying
