Love the Passport. Currently waiting to get it back from Telus Tech Support. I send a lot of text messages, and sometimes it get duplicate incoming messages. They can't figure out why, but are talking to BlackBerry... seems like it's a problem with the BB10 OS.

Same problem with the Q10 I have. The Rogers Z10 I have doesn't have this problem, but I don't send as many messages on this one.

Yes i had this problem, its OS related as i'm running the newest leak 2072 and have none since updating.

Same hear but I have narrowed it down to people who text me that have iPhones. Android and other BlackBerry no problem.

It's related to Telus and how they send, receive and acknowledge messages within their network. They were doing some different things seemingly than other carriers. There were some fixes that were put into the OS especially for this to solve the problem since Telus isn't likely to fix their network problems any time soon (or at least not quickly).

I get them too, thought for sure it was csis grabbing the text while allowing the original to flow through, then passing the text on after it gleaned your conversation. OK, so maybe I was wrong.

Yes, it is a Telus/BlackBerry problem. The texts I receive are from other carriers and all other makes of cell phones.

I had not followed this thread before last night when I received two additional duplicate texts while I was already responding to the first one. I am on T-Mobile with most current official OS with Z-10.

Yes Telus has an issue with this, I've had texts sent to me hours sometimes days apart on the TELUS network apple has a known issue with iPhone as well they have a knowledge bulletin on it, has to do with the imessage system and timeouts, I constantly have trouble with iPhone sending me multiple messages. It has been much better lately, would seem both Telus and apple have figured it out I haven't received double texts for a month or more before that it was insane
