I just downloaded a song through Appworld, and it's not working as it should.

At first I just got this message



I couldn't delete the song. I did the thirty second reset, and now the song has two copies. The second one won't play, but the first one plays, but it is hard to control if that makes sense.
This has happened in the past as well, but that song won't work at all. Has anyone who experienced this found a way to fix it? I don't like having to pay for something that doesn't work.

After you reset the phone, you still weren't able to delete the files?

Still not. Is there a way to go into the phone's directory or Files to delete it. I tap-hold until I get options but even after selecting to delete it stays

So I deleted it with File Manager. Still under music in the usual spot. And still not working. I redownloaded it through BlackBerry World. Still not working. Is there anyway to fix it, or anyone I can contact for advice on this?

That's very strange indeed.

So you went into file manager, deleted the file.. which worked. When you go back into file manager the file is no longer there? But if you go back into the music app it's still there?

Have you done a hard reset after deleting it in file manager?

I did all that. And like any cheesey serial killer it's back. I cannot delete the physical song under Music. And I keep on getting the same errors

I've got a problem with BB World music as well. Never get any album art. Not even the default blue note art. I suppose MP3 tagging might work, but I shouldn't have to do that with music purchased from BlackBerry's own store.

Again... ... .. when you say it's back.. is it back in the file manager? or does it remain deleted there?

I've had this problem to with some songs I've got off the app store. Some work, some don't. I also had the problem of it deleting all my album art work. The only way I know that fixes it is when a new update comes out. That deleted the unplayable songs and got my album artwork back.
