I just bought a Z30 off Kijiji and didn't realize that a leak (10.2.1.1259) is running on it. I have not had any problems except with a few dropped calls here and there with the leak but I prefer to be running an official OS release. I have two questions, do you think I should downgrade to an official release or stick to the leak?

Secondly, how do I downgrade to an official release on the Z30? I have not been able to find a solution so far in the threads. Thanks!

I'd say stick with the leak, official 10.2.1 is likely to drop pretty soon.

If you only have call drops, trying different radio files would be sufficient. I, personally don't recommend going back, if you don't have mayor issues, because you will probably meet more in older versions.

Thanks, that's what the majority of people seem to be saying here, I'm a newbie when it comes to leaks and don't really deal with them, if it wasn't preloaded on the device I bought I would have never installed it.

Dumb question, but I guess once the official Leak drops I should be able to upgrade no problem? I noted before realizing I had a leak that when I would try the software update it would say update server temporarily unavailable. So i wasn't sure.

I was waiting for 10.2 for the longest time, it turned out it wasn't pushing to my Q5 on Koodo because it is also the Q10 update. I just downloaded it with sachesi, but 1925 is the bees knees on my new Z30! Just do it it's miles ahead of 10.2

And if the official OS version is the same, there is no difference between leak and official.
Radio files can be found in this section, you may have to try all three in the 10.2.1 branch from 1055 upwards

Update Server offline happens from time to time. This will resolve itself

That's an older os
You won't find a newer os that way though because 10.2.1 isn't live yet
That shows up also because too server momentary overload
