Wrong section, but I guess you can just download the 10.1 autoloader that you want to install and run it?

You'll have to brick your phone first to downgrade it (At least that is how it was for me on previous downgrades). Put in the autoloader again for 10.2 and press ctrl+c while it's loading the information again. You'll get a bunch of flashing red lights. Then, connect your phone to blackberry link and restore it to factory settings.

You can wait for someone else to confirm my instructions

You have to brick your phone first? That doesn't sound like a good option. Will it not work if you just do a straight BB Link restore to factory?

No need to brick your blackberry. Just download the latest os for your version. Z or Q. I believe the latest leaked os is 10.1.0.4687. Find the os on the leaked os section. And install it as usual

So, if I want to restore my backup (done before upgrading to 10.2), I should first do a fresh install of 10.1 OS and then use BB Link to 'Restore' - Correct ? Or is there any shortcut to this ?

While everything works perfectly on my 10.2 install, only the Hotspot doesn't. Have tried everything.

You are correct that you will restore using BBLink after you have installed the 10.1. OS. But be aware of the following:

When you downgrade your OS, the restore has to be from an earlier version than the one you have just installed. For example, if your backup was from a 10.1 leak, say 10.1.0.4687 and you restore your OS to the latest carrier version, which is likely to be 10.1.0.20XX, the restore won't work. Darcy Tall Guy has created a tool that will allow you to go in to your backup file and change the OS version. You need to change to a version number = or< the version you have restored to.
