F10 has hub support. The native fb app doesn't work in the latest os

Native Facebook for BlackBerry 10 no longer has a functioning API access to Facebook. This means no push hub notifications for Facebook messenger or news feed notifications.
In OS version 10.3.3, the native Facebook app is forcibly removed from the updated device.
However there is a work around to maintain access to Facebook's API for contact sync and run the newsfeed app without Hub notification on BlackBerry 10 OS10.3.3:

For myself, I've followed the method in the link above to ensure my contacts' info is populated with data from their Facebook accounts.
Plus, I don't open the native app, I use m.facebook.com instead with email notifications turned on, with the emails sent to a dedicated email address allowing me to turn on sound and vibrate depending on profile settings.

I still did not recieve 10.3.3 yet
Don't have to upgrade if you don't want to though the method linked above is for 10.3.3
If you haven't got the update Over The Air from your carrier by now then it's unlikely you'll ever get it. You can update the device yourself via a few methods.
The easiest is a 'destructive update' (this will in effect wipe all data from the device), search these forums for the most recent '10.3.3 Autoloader' which I think is .2163, search for and read autoloader guides on crackberry like http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...er-927076-new/ and http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leaked-beta-os-f395/
There are alternatives, for example you could search for 'non destructive update' on crackberry for a guides like this one: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...achesi-904841/
Good luck
