    Jus wondering if bb10 has a safe mode cuz I remember on the legacy os7 devices holding the back key while booting took u into Safe Mode

    Not as far as I'm aware. Thanks to the micro kernel nature of the OS, Safe Mode is not really necessary.

    On legacy devices there is only a single Java virtual machine. Meaning a poorly written application could take the whole thing down. So the "safe mode" was there to bypass auto-starting third party applications.

    As previously mentioned because of the architecture and other sweeping changes it is not necessary.

    Interestingly the simulators support a safe mode, but I've never had to use it.

    "Safe mode" for in the BB10 simulator is necessary to accommodate older hardware components on the PC it is running on (mainly older display adapters, in my experience).
