    Hi all

I rock a BlackBerry Q10 (SQN 100-3) on 10.1.0.2309 (Carrier : Orange France) and unfortunately Sileloading doesn't work well...
I wish to get androids apps like Viber, Bloomberg mobile, Waze, Google Maps, banking apps, etc. I would like to make them working smoothly but they often crash, there are a lot of lags so it's impossible to use them.

Since 10.2 provides Android Jelly Bean's support, does it improve sileloading apps ? Are they running smoothly ?

    Thank you

Not really. Still the same android runtime as I recall. I never used anything less than
    Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.228 though

Isn't the Android Jelly Bean runtime included in 10.2 ?
What a pity I thought that it would increase sideloaded apps performances. I wish to get them working properly in order to get rid of my 4S.

    Thank you for your answer

You need to use xsacha's method with loading a debug token. Then you can sideload almost 99% of apps from googleplay

This is exactly what I've done. With the xsacha's method I sideloaded the main apps that I use on my 4S :
Bloomberg Mobile : works but it's very laggy
Viber : starts but I'm enable to chat and to call someone (so it's useless)
Google Maps : works well but sometimes it crashes while I'm driving so I have to stop the car to start it again
    Waze : starts and crash
Banking app : works but laggy
Shazam : works pretty good I was very suprised

So I would be very happy if Jelly Bean runtime improves the performances, that would allow me to carry the Q10 as my primary phone.

    magsasaka : Indeed it's coming on 10.2.

Waze is in BlackBerry World, no need to side load.

Waze is only available for Z10, not for Q10. That's why I had to sideload it.

Yes, it does. But it's not magical and isn't made of unicorn dust so don't expect miracles from it. Some apps that worked before, no longer do. Some apps that never worked before, do now. It just slightly increases the chances that they may work.

So it doesn't improve the performances but the chances that apps work. I'm going to wait for an official 10.2 and hope that the results will be good.

    Thank you

Bla1ze, have you got Facebook 3.3 working on Jellybean? And can you use Facebook connect on any side loaded apps?

That's odd. You should email there support people about that, especially if the sideloaded version works for you. It would only take them ticking the right box to make it available to Q10 users.
