I had a spreadsheet that worked fine in 10.2 (and still does on my laptop) but no longer works correctly in 10.3. It seems some features were removed in the upgrade. Seems an odd upgrade to remove stuff!

This is the equation that no longer works

    =SUMIF(Expenses!$C$4:$G$1000, Q30, Expenses!$G$4:$G$1000)

    Am I doing something wrong?

Hmm, strange... Let me try it here.

I'll create on the PC and move to the BB then try to create directly on the BB. Running 10.3.1.2267 on a Z30.

    EDIT:

    Try ; instead of , ?

    "Q30" instead of Q30?

    =SUMIF(Expenses!$C$4:$G$1000;"Q30"; Expenses!$G$4:$G$1000)

EDIT: Lol funny. I can't seem to make SOMASE (SUMIF) work here either!

EDIT: Now now... It was just messing with me, guess it really was the "". Time to move to the Z30.

EDIT: Now it's not working on the Z30. Equation.

    Congratz! You found a bug!!

Ok, so, turns out I have a bunch of old versions of BB10 here.

Docs2Go 10.12.3.21 works. It has an old ***, crazy icon, but the function is working.

So, I'll upload the files here. All you have to do is sideload them into your device and overwrite the one (newer) you have now. If you use Sachesi, v2.0.0 RC allows for forcing older versions in.

Good news: Docs2Go teams reports they identified the reason that is happening and will have a fix soon (BB soon. Could probably take till the next 2-3 OS iterations)!

Lol, hope you're not joking about them knowing about it. I've tweeted BlackBerry but they can't even be bothered to reply.

I just wanted to pass along some awesome news in case people missed this little tidbit of information. With BlackBerry Blend connected instead of using docs to go it uses the actual version of excel you have running on your machine!

I was blown away and am happily working from home today on a full version of Excel!

Why would I joke about that...

See the EDITS where I say at times I can't make the function work and then it decided to work? It's part of the bug. They are aware, they are fixing it, I just have no idea on when we'll see the fix hit our devices...

Which is great and all... Till you are no longer at the PC.

They listen to my source. And my sorce has been kind enough to listen to me.

    Win-win-win scenario.

Darn. The 10.2 version is really bad. Like no scrolling with the trackpad. Low usability, close to none.
Need to upgrade back to 10.3. Upgraded directly from Link, in 30 seconds.

Installed OfficeSuite from Android. Works. Not as smooth as the native one, and with a lot of functions I'm not going to use, but at least it calculates a sumif without a fuss.

OfficeSuite might work well on a faster processor, but here it works bad. Like on a big file, below usability. So editing the files on Sheets to Go, then checking the sums on OfficeSuite. Nasty.
