The number came from memory, so yes, it is incorrect. The current number is around 33 million. Certainly not great, but still quite large, and doesn't invalidate my argument. 33m versus 50m does shift a good deal of revenue, but revenues on 33m is not a small number, and that's just BB subscribers. This doesn't count BES subscribers, QNX mobile contractees, and global, multi-platform BBM user purchases, and anything else BB has going.

If Priv can combine android and BlackBerry Hub then it may eventually substitute or compliment BB10 in handsets. Not sure about BlackBerry security software, if it's based on bb10 and qnx then BB10 will live.
