I like the red, but they really should give users a choice. I wonder where the red colour came from....

Yes I like it a lot. But I wish there were at least 3 themes to choose from, for people that do not like the red finish.

Red may be my favourite colour but I don't want it on my BlackBerry. I would like the choice to choose the colour.

I prefer the blue. Like some have already mentioned, it's easier on the eyes for me as well.

I think that, when completed, 10.3 will have themes or skins. We will be able to choose whether to have red or blue or other colors consistently across the entire UI and apps.

I wouldn't pay much attention to it. It could be part of a bigger scheme, where users will be able to choose between a multitude of colors as their own theme!

Even in nature red colour represents something to be aware of. Red is an alert. This colour literally tells you to stop. Traffic lights are red for a reason, and when "on" switch in the mobile OS is represented with this colour, it is quite confusing.

While I like the look of thin red lines on a bright background, indicators in overflow menu (camera for example) looks terrible for my eyes. So no red for me please.

It is scary to even think someone actually used red for testing, Okay they don't see too well, that part I understand.

Its not red all over just highlights are red.

Its more black with little reds.

I dont know why people are panicking so much over red. Red is quickly noticed by our eyes so when its put to important highlights our eyes will quickly take note of whats important in the display.

Iam really liking the thought BlackBerry has put in this one and really loving the More Black with a red touch theme.

For those who dislike an option could be implemented to get back ur blue.

    But Red is Better.

    Colour Psychology
Blue is the colour of the intellect, the mind, making it the colour of communication and when you think about social media, its all about communicating.

Blue also has the perception as being trustworthy, dependable, safe and reliable.* These are the perceived positive qualities of a business who chooses blue.

I don't mind red too. but I wished more for flexibility in choosing color themes. And I wished specifically to see black replacing any white background for apps.

I think the best solution is BlackBerry to provide an option for:
    - overflow menu color
    - highlight color
    - background color

This way they can please anyone, we have different tastes.

    I prefer:
    - black
    - blue/red
    - white

I like the RED, I even have a Red theme on my Canon Ti4 camera. But an option to change for the user would serve all.

No with the red. Blue is much easier on the eyes. Even on dashboards of most new cars, they have done away with the red and have replaced it with blue or white.

There has to be a reason for that somewhere. Red is a thing of the past
