I use flicking mostly when I'm typing with one hand, but do use it occasionally with 2 thumbs as well. The autocorrect usually detects my mashing and I don't need to use it, or always feel the need to use it.

When I was watching bb 10 review videos, I thought I would be using the flicking a lot, but now that I actually picked up a Z10 and used the touch keyboard.

I rarely ever use the keyboard flicking and my typing is the fastest when I just use the auto correct and type normally.

Is this the case for other people as well?

I actually impressed a bunch of Finnish IT guys at a beer run last night with the flicking. They could not believe their eyes.
I use the flicking A LOT. It is what makes the BB10 keyboard second to none among virtual keyboards.

I have always been a physical keyboard user Bold 9700/9780 and 9900,and when I bought a Z10 to try the new BB10 system, i find the on screen keyboard difficult and the flick a word to select I fail to do it correctly
And end up erasing the result and predictive text I switch off, it's my fault not the Z10 i am too set in my ways and Z10 is used for media, so back to 9900 and waiting for Classic and a real keyboard my comfort zone.

when im on my q10 i actually use the auto suggest bar all the time, i know to type the first 3-4 letters and look for the auto completed word instead of typing it out, especially when i am drinking something, smoking, etc

I use it all the time. The trick is type 2 letters and flick. I also like how it adds the space allowing you to start the next word

I use the flicking to show off, iOS and Android OS don't have that.... And it's really good because of words suggestions, I make up any sentence, and I can always flick.... :-) Now I make people chose the sentence, and then it works even better. :-)

I have a z30, so the screen is wide enough, and when I type regularly (no flicking), i have no typos,....

I used both when I had a Z10. Depends on whether I was looking at the keyboard whilst typing (flick) or where the text is entered or anywhere else then I'd just smash it out

It's the second most useful thing ever. The first is the Blackberry Hub. If Blackberry sold an image I would put BB10 on my OnePlus. Please John?

I use it. It's helpfull for long words or when you are in situation you have to go fast.
