    New to BB10 and I have a couple of questions:
    1.- Is there a way to disable the notifications I get every time I walk nearby a hotspot ... very annoying.
    2.- Has BB10 lost the ability of switching off universal search so that the special keys such as U for calculator, O for options, K for lock screen etc are available? I used them all the time as there were great shortcuts

    You typically won't get a notification to a hot spot unless it is one that you have tried to connect to before. Check the WiFi networks that are saved. Delete any that you don't use.
