Hey folks,

For those (like myself) who have been wondering just when 10.2 will be rolling out on Digicel T&T it appears we have a date!

Been in touch with customer service and they've told me we can look forward to the release on the 11th of November!


So glad to finally begetting this update! It's about time because bmobile (another mobile provider in Trinidad and Tobago) rolled out their 10.2 several weeks ago.

For all the Trinis on Crackberry, the countdown to Monday has begun!

A little off topic but need some help from the trinis. Coming down for xmas from Canada and bringing my z10 stl 100-3, just got the phone unlocked and needing to know if I can a local sim with data. Next question, is there a kiosk in the airport as im going straight to tobago?

Yes it will work, I have the same version (got mine from Tmobile in the US this past June.) And yes, there are kiosks for both Digicel and Bmobile in the airport in the duty free area in arrivals. The first one you'll meet is the bmobile, and the Digicel is a little further down on your left hand side (close to the kiosk that sells local music.)

I still don't know what's taking them so long. They haven't released 10.2 for the Z10 as yet but I think it's out for the Q10. Their Facebook page made mention of this. I asked for an update on the availability of 10.2 for the Z10 and all I got was the standard canned response. Boo.

Just messaged my rep, he will try contacting into work and asking someone in the engineering department as he has his day off and heard no mention of not even testing 10.2 yet. Maybe we're getting bumped up to 10.2.1 over 10.2 next month?

Perhaps. I was thinking they may be waiting for 10.2.1 as well. Let's hope that's the case! Can't wait!

Well here in Curacao I just got confirmed it has been delivered, but that it still isn't near release for us yet, most possibly a January release before the end of that month. Highly likely in the first half of the month. Couldn't give a comment about immediate jump to 10.2.1 or if they have it yet, but said it could be very possible.

I'm glad that it's become available in Trini. Was there any reason you didn't try the leaked OS? Or were you patiently waiting for the official release? The leaks have become very stable, plus it's super easy to install.

I'm all about leaks since the first 10.2 for the STL-1 dropped :P Not seeing myself going back waiting for official releases anymore. In fact, I'm downloading the new one dropped today, but still contemplating if it the benefits really are that great compared to the time I'm gonna have to spend to setup the phone again (I don't restore app data) and .1055.
