I did what this poster mentioned for my cousin see quote below

Gotta keep toggling it for some reason, then it eventually 'sticks'

After you've switched it, and you see your dark theme, do the volume rocker reset [hold volume keys down until your BB reboots and you see the loading circle]. Apparently that's the safest way to do a reset. Let us know how it goes!
    Really thanks for the help.
To bad for me, it does not stick on my contacts. Aftdr 10 min constantly trying. I think i will do a whipe tomorrow and see how it goes!

    Thanks though!

That great feature will most likely save BlackBerry! Even darker than dark on AMOLED displays!

But it would be truely awesome, if BlackBerry devices were waterproof with the update now, like iPhones updated to iOS 7!

Caveat: Apple users, please read this before filling the tub: Important: iOS 7 Does NOT Make Your iPhone Waterproof

If u have t-mobile then the radio will be different to enable wifi calling. You can always sideload the radio when it comes out.

If you're restoring a backup, the settings info from the back up prevents Contacts from going dark themed.

I also heard you get dark theme menu and settings on the official version. But you don't get dark theme for BBM..

Both .1791 should be stricly identical.
It seems just an error somewhere made some added 2 unwaited apps (matter of 2sec to remove them I guess)

So if you want differnce, you sould consider 10.2.1.xxx

Dark theme doesn't work with leaked version either so don't be too concerned. Maybe it will be fixed in the next update.

I got the dark theme in Contacts when I updated to .1791 but it was gone after restoring from backup so I think it may have been affected by the old settings. I can't find another way to restore my passwords so the Light theme is ok. However, Calendar and BBM settings are not affected. Dark theme looks good but it's not a big deal for me and I don't mind the lack it. Maybe it will he fixed it 10.2.1 or 10.2.2.

Dark theme: I guess it's the same as with the leak.
If you have BBM channels beta installed, the dark theme won't stick.

Is it possible to install the core OS 1791 and Radio 1792 separately without the bars file.
i mean, i only download Core OS and Radio 1791/1792 via sachesi and install it into 1767?

    thanks

Huh? Well, No. If you want to install the 91 92 files you can, but you will have to sideload the 67 bar files over the top. But why would you want to do that?

oh ok, not possible? hmm because both OS mostly share the same bars, and i notice only 13 bars file are different ... which is not really important for me.

Yes, it is possible to download only the core OS and radio via sachesi and sideload those two files using sachesi. It won't wipe your phone. If you're using an autoloader then it will wipe your phone. But for the safe side, backup your phone first in case there's something happen in the middle of the update and you need to install a fresh OS.

At least the T-Mobile version here in Germany has some new software included, that was not part of the leak...e.g. MY EE and Nawigacja.

Dark theme does not work on contacts with this official softw.
    Strange...
Hmm, I just tried and it does for me.
I was on 1767 and applied the official update. I could never use the black theme on contacts before because I was restoring settings.

Maybe someone else can verify this is they were on an older build. Then again, the official pushed out update should clean up any bold databases.
Maybe that's why it was slow at times when installing - cleaning out databases?

Works great though overall so far .

    There can't be any difference between the leaked .1791 and official .1791 because they have exactly the same MD5 check sums;
