I JUST got my soon-to-be-extinct Verizon Z30 all set with my apps, data etc. after autoloading .1130 last week. I love it's current performance and honestly see no glitches other than a slight volume decrease, which has been reported by others - easily mitigated by turning up the volume for me.

I would love to know if it's worth the new update to .1154 ... what are the differences between the OSs anyone?

UPDATE: Yes, yes, yes it's worth it to update to .1154. I Autoloaded it to my Z10 for testing + restored a Z30 backup to that (settings, data & apps *gasp!*) and it worked perfectly, so I did the same to my Z30.

I've had no issues doing a full restore, which some are opposed to I know. Volume issue is fixed, runs a tad smoother (or placebo effect), camera is not laggy like before. Don't know about battery life yet as it's too soon to tell. I just had to download a new working Amazon App Store and re-sideload Snap.

The only issue I have is still that annoying notification saying I need to update the passwords to my email & social apps (and which produces an error when you click to try to do it). I was having this issue on .1130, which I autoloaded and set up from scratch ... I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this and what a possible fix is.

Well, for one, you get the volume issue resolved and then have updated apps and also a faster runtime.
Did you load the bars from 1154 when you installed 1130?
If you did, just download the Core OS and Radio files for 1154 and sideload to your device.
If you didn't, then download the autoloader and install on your device.

I just ran the autoloader on my Z30 and will just update the core on my Q10 and the updated bar files. I'm just hoping the Verizon sms issue is fixed for the Z30 :/

At least do the radio, it seems to have better idle drain. I wouldn't say it's worth a destructive upgrade. Nondestructive for sure.

I haven't had any sms issues since. 700 I do however have a slight delay when sending mms, it's weird just sits for a minute or so then sends. No errors just slightly delayed sending.

So does this mean I can do a non-destructive upgrade or not? Thanks ...

I personally felt the android app is a lot faster on 1154 than on 1130. Definitely worth the upgrade.

For the Amazon app store, if it doesn't work after loading 1154, it's easiest, IMO, to just go to http://www.amazon.com/getappstore?t=...UvbUpU10803785 and reload it.

What device are you on? There are a few threads about it. Sometimes, after a while or for whatever reason, some Z30 phones stop receiving sms messages. I would then need to reboot to start getting messages again but I wouldn't receive the non-delivered texts. Sucks since you never know when you're not receiving messages.

And no, making everyone only use BBM isn't the solution :P

I suspect it's because I'm in Orlando and that's supposed to be one of the volte pilot citys, I've noticed weird things since the ims options became turned on. On 1052 my phone tried to do volte calls until I reset my mobile network, they failed of course. Or it could be the xlte doing different things.
