Just got notification for the update and currently running the update ! Germany here (Congstar / Telekom Sim Card) but APAC Z10 Version (Bought in Dubai)

Looks like this time BB has learned and took the more consistent approach like Apple does!

My Q10 prompted me yesterday a message announcing me that a new update (10.1.0.4181) is available.
I download it and installed it. After that the phone asked me for reboot. 2 hours later the boot progress was showing me 96%. Five hours later 99%.
I rebooted again and this morning (6-7 hours later) was stuck at 99%.
Is there a way to make it work without resetting to factory defaults?

This is nothing like apple, updates still go through the carriers which is why I'm still waiting and people in the US will have to wait even longer. With Apple everybody gets the update simultaneously.

Claro Puerto Rico di d the update last night running smoothly. They skipped the 10.1 update until the MR. They only updated once on 10.0 early on the release until now. Glad they had jump back o the BlackBerry race to regain his place among the leaders on mobile platforms.

Telstra Eta is 16th August last update.

It's already out on Optus. I put my partners Optus sim in to get the update on My Telstra phone. You can also buy a $2 a Optus sim or try rebooting on wifi only with no sim

Yes thanks I know how to do a screen shot. But I don't use my z-10 for Crackberrry and I was already typing in the thread when I was checking for update so I figured just snap a pic to make things quick.


I must say that the simple password ROCKs no more errors trying to enter the pas while driving...

I just couldn't wait to be pushed by my carrier and got it downloaded from sachup is there any problem with that? Cause I have a fast battery draining and slow swiping performance issue !!
