AT&T most recent release 10.1.0.2019 probably makes it the lowest version released in the world. I believe from what has been posted about Verizon that they have a more recent version since they finally released it after AT&T. So I would guess that we will not be getting the M.R. update till the rest of the world has received the official 10.2 update. If this has nothing to do with the radio stack I do not understand why BlackBerry does not send it out to all of us direct and bypassing the carriers.

If they bypass the carriers, the carriers will quit selling BlackBerry phones.
BlackBerry is not Apple. BlackBerry has no leverage like Apple. The rest of your statement is probably what's gonna happen. That's why I unlocked mine and bought a Rogers SIM off eBay for $6 and got the update and couldn't be happier.
Screw those US carrier clowns. End of summer for MR release is a clear statement against BlackBerry, no matter what anybody says. I hope one of these days they are gonna choke on their arrogance...

I tried to receive it from the BB Software Updates by clicking on the "Check for Updates" button ... no update
The OTA update and also no update (rebooted 3 times)
Also by BB Link and I do not have the Update option!

Looks like I am not lucky enough to have it yet =D

for those of you who weren't receiving this via your carrier, have you tried removing the sim, rebooting and switching wifi on then doing a manual software update without a sim in the phone? Worked for me - 3 uk are apalling at getting updates out in a timely fashion so i found this worked perfectly for me and I'm now on the latest. Hope this helps someone.

There is a way to lock it. Hold the power button until you get the shutdown options. There is a lock option in the middle.

If you don't have a device password set, there's no lock option.

I'm one of those users that (probably) deleted one of the factory-installed, native apps that I shouldn't removed and... whenever I plug into BB Link, I get prompted to download an OS update (but it's the same one over and again - 10.1.0.273).

My question is this: Is there any chance that will impact or prevent my ability to get the new MR?

Just wondering if anyone knows for sure?

I notice the swipe up is a little snappier now. The album art is showing up for all my music. Maps has improved. I haven't had a reboot yet. I'm very happy with this update.
