I recently installed google maps 6.14.1 mod bar (found it on the forum, it is by far the fastest google maps I've tried) and I hid the android "bar" at the bottom of the screen that allows you to back out of screens where there is no software button.

When I hide the bar blackberry (10.3.1.2072) shows me a tip that "To go back when the navigation bar is not displayed, swipe from the bottom frame diagonally to the left or the right"

Anyway, is anybody able to use this back feature? (not exit the application/minimize) I cant for the life of me get it to work. Either i dont know what diagonal means ( / or \ ) or it doesnt work

For those are curious about the Google maps application speed, i compared, various google maps versions with two q10'd and did map loading (with cached maps) for 9.3, 9.0, 8.4, 8.2, 8.0, 7.4, 7.0 6.14.4, 6.14.1, 6.7, 6.2

The modded 6.14.1 with the mod is by far the fastest and the smoothest when scrolling the maps around. At least on the q10.
the file name is Google_Maps_6.14.1_BB10_Maps-Core.bar I found it on this site, and i cant for the life of me find it again. Because i wanted to see what was modded, stripped out that allows it to move so fast. I am assuming it stripped out it searching for location services.

Don't have this app, but it works fine in other Android apps. I've found best results by starting in the centre of the bezel, then swiping in about a 30 degree angle off the horizontal, not the 45 degree angle that / or \ would suggest.

That worked. Anything over 30 degrees it seems to minimize the app. 20-30 degrees works
