Hi, i picked up an old Passport. I unlocked it, using the right PIN password. Then I updated to latest 10.3.3. Then after all, i connected it to a pc to make a backup using blackberry desktop suite.

It told me "insert the device password".

I inserted my 4 digits pin.

It said wrong 1/10.

I inserted it again.

wrong 2/10.

I disconnect the phone and type the pin, which i typed right until 5 minutes before (using the osk as it is a digits only password): wrong 3/10

how???

Right now i am at wrong 9/10, there's any way I can unlock my device without wiping it?

Nope, that is the whole idea of PIN on a Blackberry...

Well but for example there was an exploit on 10.1 that allowed pin reset via USB i think?

Did you use the SIM PIN? That's different from the device PIN.
