    UPDATE BELOW

    Can't really back up my phone before the update if my phone never connects to link. Not sure if anyone has any suggestions. but it's never worked since I've had my phone and that was maybe 17 months ago.

    So you can't connect to Link right now? Have you rebooted both phone and PC?
    Tried a known good working USB cable?

    Could you describe your problem further? At what point in the process do you have issues?

    Try another USB hub. Do you have a mac? Try another USB port or as the fine lady stated: Try another USB cable. Close LINK, connect the device and open LINK again! Done!

    Alright first I am going to attempt to re-install the software on my computer. I will get back to you all shortly.

    Hey ! So kinda weird I figured out if I installed BlackBerry Link through BlackBerry Blend when you are given the option to at the start of the installation it works! Don't know why but it worked. Thanks for the help guys and gals.
